If there is anyone out there who uses maya a lot and knows his/her way aropund it i would very much appreciate any help from them on a couple ( a lot actually) issues that im having. I would actually rather like to see some tutorials for it since the one on alias.com is a tad bit complicated. Ill post my first question and then if anyone offers to help ill post the other ones
My first question is how do you create a box? Not a sides-top-bottom box but one without the top so that when you smooth shade it you can still see inside. I tried making one by just rotating and scaling planes but there are always cracks between the sides and they never group when i click group.
If im being too vague just say so....
