Beware of the WW still left in case of the Viks. It would be good if they declare us in that case we could enjoy some War Happiness instead. Shouldn't be too hard...

I knew you said that somewhere but I hoped the world would settle down a bit if we where *not* involved in any wars. In vain so it seems.

It is one of my pet peeves that the game doesn't give credit for the level of world development in the score. If that where the case the game wouldn't be about killing of or maiming all the others involved.

I have two new techs Satellites (Thrusters already built ) and Fission (UN underway in Antalya). I revolted to Monarchy rather than mess about with WW.

The Bombers will need rebasing
Bergen (their capital, our next target is on a river so need to be attacked from the West
The Navy took to long to get there to make any difference but there are now four Battleships to help in the bombardment.
I moved forward too fast to allow the Carriers to catch up.
There are still 8 Cruise Missiles (if needed).
Quite a gruelling set of turns but I nearly managed to wipe them out.

Great progress, TJ. remember the Viks where number 2 once. Those two techs are actually quicker then the last was, MB just missed it by one turn. That happens.

Seems Greece and Persia finally return some of the investions made. Good. Should we gift some of the newly captured cities to Greece? They'll be useless to Persia, too far away.

I was going to write some more notes in the morning - too tired to think straight now

I wanted to wipe out the Vikings then gift all the cities to Greece except Reykjavik (Smith's). But I guess that could go as well.

Huh? Those cities will be useless to anyone, space. All we really want is for them to reach their OCN so they won't fight so many wars.

Let's split the cities between Egypt and Greece? Egypt is being a big warmonger, and it would be nice for Greece to calm down too.

Hm, I don't know whether putting 2 civs on that island is that smart and I personally would like to keep Smith's, I missed that one, it's a personal favorite.

The Aztec cities really would be more useful to Egypt. I'm really not worried about any of them anymore even if they do get bigger. Do they still have a MPP with Egypt?

More Notes
We need some more Workers as we aren't keeping up with pollution on the mainland.

Finish off Scandinavia and then gift the cities to the Greeks, perhaps hanging onto Rykjavik which is worth about 400gpt to us. This has the drawback of giving Greece a source of Aluminium enabling them to start their own SS.

Persia has MPPs with Aztecs & Iroquois so that leaves Babylon and Mongolia as our next targets.
Babylon don't really matter but we could give take Mongolia and give the proceeds to Persia
We are also quite handily placed for an attack on Mongolia and we might actually get to use the Carriers on the Northern coast of Scandinavia.

We still need the AI to research Synth Fibres, Superconductor & the Laser for our final SS components,

Persia has 4 SS components underway (if I'm reading the report correctly).

Antalya (122spt) is our only high production city and pre-builds are risky but Baghdad (58spt) is working on Manhattan which could be switched if something more interesting comes along.

We have 558 Military units so shouldn't really need to build more. I even managed to get some use from our supposedly obsolete Cavalry

Our culture is 80,002 but Egypt are about the same level so that won't be a problem.

The only city we have in the top five is Medina. The other four positions are all occupied by different Civs for once.

Remember we are in Monarchy for Warring and will need to switch back to Democracy as soon as the wars are over,
It might be worth switching as soon as the Vikings are gone. Then as WW builds up in our war with Mongolia down-shifting to Monarchy again.

This is another one of those old-fashion "Got It" posts. (maybe not old-fashion but you get the point )

So the objective is to kill the Vikings give there land to Greece (Most of it anyway), Build Workers to clear polution on the mainland, and start to kill the Mongols?

Whether or not you choose to kill the Mongols is up to you, I don't think it will make much of a difference personally. Same with gifting cities to Greece. They will be corrupt and will not contribute much to the science rate, but it may take them over the OCN which may help to pacify them.

Just make sure you have fun, and keep an eye out for any new techs that are made available. Build any SS parts you can.
