Media Pack

So I've read in a few posts about downloading a FFH media pack.

Is this still necessary? As I've never seen (well noticed really) a link for it, not have I had issues playing it.

Media pack allows movies to the game (intro, wonders, victories), but its not necessary. The link to it is just under the picture of the download screen. Good luck and enjoy!
