Medic Explained?

Could someone explain the medic promotion to me? It says 10% healed per turn, but it doesn't work while moving. My questions though are, assuming a stack of 50% dead calvary deep in hostile territory...

1. If one calvary has medic (10%) and they are in enemy lands, they heal 10%+5% per turn when they don't move, correct?
2. If the medic has march (can heal while moving) does that only apply to him, or does he give the whole stack 10% healing while moving, or does he give 15%? Does it affect everyone, or just himself.
3. Two medics do not overwrite each other correct? What if one medic is Medic 2 (20% + 10% for nearby tiles) and one medic is medic I. What if medic I is in an adjacent tile?
4. Medics do not heal if they move right?

Medics do not heal themself, if they move.
Unless they have March.
March only applies to the unit that has it.
A medic (without march) that has moved into square where you have other wounded units, will heal those units (if they did not moved).
When multiple bonuses from different medic units are avaiable they dont stack, but the best one is chosen.

apparently, woodman 3 offers a healing per turn bonus. players with bts have mentioned using their great generals to create woodman 3, medic 3 units for fast healing. sounds cool.

The best unit for that is the jaguar. Otherwise, if your leader is not agressive and not charismatic I would just settle for a chariot with medic 3. It takes too long to get enough experience for a super medic without agg. or cha. and I prefer a fast moving healer immediately.

What about a quecha? Take a barracks promoted (3xp) woody1 quechas and go smack around your nearest neighbor. This should get at least one of your units to the woody 3 promotion fairly easily (just need 7 more xp for one of your units to reach 10xp.) This also generates GG points as well. I'm at work, so I don't know how many xp you would then need in order to get to medic 3 (quechas start with combat 1.) At the very least, a GG promotion would get you medic 1, which combined with woody 3 is as good as a medic 3 promotion. I would think that over the course of the game, you could earn more xp for your GG promoted unit if need be to try to get to medic 3.

Curious what people think?

It's actually not that easy. Quecha gets combat1 for free, and needs woodsman1,2,3 and medic1,2,3 - that is 6 promotions.
The first promotion is 2XP. The 2nd is at 5XP. The third is 10XP, then it goes 17, 26, 37. You need 37 XP, which is very hard to get even with a great general.

On the other hand, jaguars start with both woodsman and combat1 for free, so they only need 26XP to be super healers.
