Medic Promotion clarification

All units in adjacent tiles heal 1 additional HP per turn. (this is the vanilla description)

just so I understand this correctly. If a unit with medic ends it turn next to a wounded unit, that wounded unit would gain 1 HP at the end of the turn (or start of next turn?). Does the Medic ability stack with'Fortify'?

Also does the healing from 'Fortify' and 'Medic' happen at the beginning or the end of the turn?

Units heal immediately at the end of their turn, provided they didn't do any action that turn. Medic heals addition to normal healing. so fortify will heal 1 hp and medic will heal another 1 hp. So your units pretty much heal at double rate.
 
Also, if you had, say, 4 units in a small group, all adjacent to each other.. it would become +4 to all of the, or +20(?) in G&K/BNW?

How does this promotion stack with the Fountain of Youth promotion? Does the Youth's double based on the standard value or does the Medic's promo add first then that number is doubled?

I confirmed an unit with adjacent unit with Medic the +1 health does not stack with Fountain of Youth.
