Here's a map of the Mediterranean area as of about 270 BC.

Some of these nations on this map will be combined, for simplicity.

Should give a good idea though of what I'm looking at.

The following nations (or tribes) will be in this scenario:

Major Powers:

Rome
Carthage
Ptolemaic Empire
Seleucid Empire
Macedon
Greek States (Epirus, Aetolian League, Achaean League, Massilia)

Minor Powers:

Armenia
Thracians (including tylisian kingdom)
Iberian Tribes
Gauls (Celtic Tribes)
Illyrians
Bithynia
Galatia/Cappadocia
Pontus
Arab Tribes
Numidia (not listed, but sat inland from carthage)

Slavic Tribes will be "barbarians".

Here is some summary information from the "New Projects" thread (some of it modified as needed):

The map will include most of Europe and North Africa, as well as part of the Middle East.

Still looking for a good map.

Units will be done similar to the way I did them for the American Civil War scenario, with each country having several unique units.

Cities will be historical to fit with the time period, using their actual names of said time period, and placed as accurately as possible.

There will be a variety of units, to add more realism to the time period and to the scenario.

Techs will be more diverse than in the ACW and WWI scenarios, providing for more than one path to victory or dominance.

The map used will be adjusted if I find a map of the time period, using the coastlines of that time period rather than the present-day one.

Why don't you put Galatia with the Gauls as they were Gallic, and have Cappadocia on its' own?

If you want to know what the purple state next to Armenia and the Seleucid Empire is, it is Atropatene, a Median state.

Yes, I was aware that the one over there was a Median state, but I didn't know that was its name.

Galatia would be "completely separate" from the Gauls though. Cut off so to speak. And it was independent at that time from the Gauls.

Easier just to combine the two "minor" states into one.

Map looks good, though I was kinda hoping for a map that didn't include northern Europe (meaning, Scandanavia and Iceland in particular). If I can't find anything else, this map will work.

Map looks good, but only flaw is I wouldn't be able to include as much of the Seleucid empire as I want to. If it extended a little bit more east, it would be completely perfect.

Question, would there be a way for me to change it from 160 X 160 (it said huge, so I'm assuming that's what it is), to 180 X 160? And then add what I want to it? (without having to redraw it out square by square)
