Merry Christmas and incredible job to the devs. I launched the ‘plains’ branch of the mod today for the first time in many months, and I can’t believe all these new features and improvements!

I launched the ‘plains’ branch of the mod today for the first time in many months, and I can’t believe all these new features and improvements!

But please understand that "Plains" is still an alpha. It has not yet reached "beta phase".
I woud highly suggest to still play the official release 3.0.1 instead.

"Plains" is not meant to be "regularly played" yet, it is just meant for development purposes.
(Feature implementation, graphics work, text writing, testing, bugfixing ...)

• Maps do not have all Terrains and Terrain Features yet.
  
• Map Scripts do not generate new Terrains and Terrain Features yet.
  
• Pathfinding does not consider new Movement Logics.
  
• Some features are still hidden in DLL and not activated.
• Some features AI does not understand.
• Some stuff has not yet been balanced.
• ...

Use it only for "sneak peaks" please.
Or of course if you want to contribute to it.

Of course, we're on the same page Ray! I am only able to play tiny bits at a time, and 'sneak peaks' are all I can realistically have at the moment anyhow, so it's always refreshing to compile the latest commits and see what's new.

Merry Christmas to everyone. here you are friends to me. I really appreciate the many moments of entertainment that this MOD and the community have given me, it's nice to play the vanilla version, but the editions are much better and the interaction with the rest of the community is something really cool.

Thank you for everything, especially the developers for their commitment to making this MOD, and providing several hours of entertainment.Happy New Year too.

Dawn of Civilization (CIV4) and RaR/WTP (Col) are my favorite mods.
