A land once rich of resources, and a single great nation millenia ago, was abruptly brought to it's knees by a catastrophic cosmic event. Now, nearly 20.000 years later, the lands are re occupied by many new civilizations, and only a shadow of the great empire remains, fractured but still holding a fragile alliance. Two major new powers are warring each other, and to the west, a small, but potentially powerful alliance is growing.

This map os the first one i actually put cities or alliance between civs.

The map itself is cut in pieces by the large river, mountains are impassable, so that adds some more natural barriers between civs. The remains of the old empire (Rome and allied Byzantine) is located in the southeast corner, behind the safety of mountains, and the crater lake.

The two large powerful empires (Ottomans & Mongols) in locked war, are in the crater continent aswell.

The western alliance, (England & Portugal) are located in the western edge of the map with Spain in the sma island.

Other islands are scattered around the edges of the map.

Here's an overwiev and minimap images of the scenario:

Here's the map, it took a while longer cos the stupid map editor deleted one of the civs without asking. >_>
This is a bit off-topic, but I noticed that the C3C editor has a strange bug that sometimes deletes civilizations randomly when changing the active player and placing a starting location or a city... It's very annoying, and it happened several times for me.

It's not a bug, it's just the logical consequence of changing players and civs in the Scenario Properties window. It's still extremely annoying so you should always save before fiddling with that window.

Looks a nice map. Though surely it should be meteorite river...

This thread can be locked up and cast to the fiery depths of hell. The map is so completely messed up by the editor, that there's no fixing it. I suspect even file corruption.

I'm going to take off all the cities and rule edits, and make all civs playable. If you wanna get the map, gimme a private message and we can work something out.

It won't be that bad Doom66. A simple reimport of the data into a fresh biq should do it. You should import everything but the scenario and player properties. Save the new biq before adjusting the player/scenario properties as you desire.
