Mid-Game Exit

This has happened twice: In midgame, the computer restarts (like if you were to turn it off and then abck on again) and once you get to the desktop a prompt comes up saying "Windows has recovered from a serious error" has this happened to anyone else? any information is much appreciated

I've had this happen regularly in multiplayer games, sometimes the computer reboots automatically, more often the screen becomes a mash of various colors and the computer is totally locked up and won't respond to anykeyboard activity including ctrl-alt-del or alt-tab. The only solution is to hard reboot the computer and start the game again.

I do have an ATI graphics card (9700 pro with 128MB) which I've seen other people with similar problems and ATI cards. I've loaded all the new video drivers thinking that might solve my issue but no change in status.

Its a very frustrating issue to which I have found no solutions.
