Miltiplayer Hacking!

I leant Civ 2 to a freind once and he then bought the multiplayer version, He wouldnt loan it to me but he said that there was a file you could Hex edit to enable it,

Anyone know where this is?

I tryed some programs for multiplay but they suck dont work

There are "hacks" you can go to Civ 2 Standard to enable hotseat MP. But that's probably not what you want. The best program I found was MPCiv2. You can download the newest version here: http://www.geocities.com/thecornmaster/games/games.htm#multiciv

But the program and the site are no longer updated....but it was the best MP program for standard Civ that I saw. Plus I like the hotseat trading/treaty better than MGE!!!

Oh....forgot about that. I don't know how he got away with that?!?!? It's more (software) pirating than almost anything I've seen.

ah..nonsense.Its simply an update for those that can no longer find FW or MGE.

You might find a copy of MGE if you are real lucky,but you will never find a copy of FW.
They abandoned it so...what else to do?

tryes the MGE update but i dont get any difrence in the game, except a few errors during making a game
