Mini Mafia Game (Catchy Title Goes Here)

CCRunner. That's hardly good reasoning. We kinda actually do need to lynch a mafia today, so voting for someone on what appears to be the basis of 'because they voted for someone else' is pretty scummy, when he did provide a good reason.

Meh, alright if you guys really want to lynch the doctor.

I can protect myself btw. If you want a real reason for my vote, it's because those with roles almost always pay more attention to games than normal townies, thus are the first (only) to vote. Since the cop is dead, and I'm the doctor, the only role left I believe is mafia.

Also, @Camikaze: "He acted sketchy" is hardly a good reason.

Well, okay, perhaps you should've indicated that in your first post, rather than just saying, "Kill Fire just because".

And do you dispute kill fire's claim against Arakhor?

As for you being the doctor; being able to protect yourself seems to be an awfully convenient alibi.

And maybe I didn't feel like claiming when I felt there was no reason to. Then you decided to jump on me, and I changed my mind.

As for it being a convenient claim... well there's one doctor in the game. Me claiming it would be pretty stupid since it'd make me a confirmed mafia to that one player. Unless I really am telling the truth, which I am.

And about the disputing claim... what claim? Seriously, saying "he acted sketchy" is pretty much the exact same as "just because"

Supposing for a minute that you are mafia posing as the doctor. The doctor comes along after you have already claimed to be the doctor. He says, "Hi, I'm the doctor." Who are we to believe? That would make you a confirmed mafia to that one person, but why would anyone have anymore reason to believe that one person than to believe you? Anyone could claim to be the doctor at the moment and there would only really be one person (the real doctor) who would therefore know that they are mafia.

I find your "don't be silly, the mafia wouldn't do that :mischief:" argument a little unnerving.

Well do you think that Arakhor was a little sketchy yesterday? I certainly do. That's at least a reason, and one based off something (activity yesterday) rather than on absolutely nothing.

In that case then we lynch one of us, and the other the next day. Simple, and a good trade off for the town.

And no, I do not believe Arakhor's behavior yesterday to have been particularly 'sketchy'. Not any indication of innocence but neither of guilt. All he really did was say that No lynch was a mistake which is a legitimate opinion.

Also, Unvote, Vote: Camikaze You're completely over analyzing the situation.

We can't afford to wait 'til tomorrow, because by that stage, almost half those remaining will be mafia, if we fail to lynch a mafia today. And I bet if we go with your suggestion of lynching both claimants to being doctor, you aren't going to volunteer to be lynched today, right (although to be fair, there's no situation I can conceive in which it would be a good idea for you to do that; mafia or innocent)? So, no, that idea is horrible.

And Arakhor's suggestion yesterday that 'yeah, we should risk lynching someone based on absolutely nothing, despite the overwhelming probability against success' does seem extremely fishy to me. Yesterday, we had no clue and a fool's hope of catching a mafia. Today we at least have some people's behaviour to go off, and an increased chance of success, plus the prospect of complete annihilation if we put off lynching again.

Before I get WOG'ed abstain.

A) This is completely hypothetical. If you haven't noticed, nobody has yet appeared to contradict my claim, nor will they
B) If we do not lynch mafia today, I believe we still have one more chance

I actually agree with arakhor that lynching somebody yesterday would have been better. What more do we have to go on? A bunch of abstain's aren't useful. The increased chance of success is a joke because Double A was in no practical danger yesterday either. And last I checked, the prospect of complete annihilation doesn't make the innocents suddenly better at making choices.

What you have managed to convince me of though, is that you are 100% scum. You're inventing hypotheticals to make sure somebody with a power role is lynched

Day 2 Voting:

CCRunner— (Camikaze, kill fire)
Camikaze— (CCRunner)
Abstain— (Nictel, Zack)

Only just over half the town voted that day. The Mayor shook his head and asked the town who to lynch. 39% said no one, 20% shouted for Camikaze, but the most overbearing was the 41% who said that CCRunner must die. He looked wildly about him for an avenue of escape, but to no avail. He jabbed with a syringe that was conveniently in his pocket, but Camikaze and kill fire both grabbed him, snapped his neck, then shot him in the nose. CCRunner died, unable to save his own life or anyone else's anymore.

CCRunner was the Doctor!

Night begins now, and ends in 24 hours. 1:00 PM Monday March 8, 2010.

If certain people continue to not vote, they will be WOGed. That will cut this game away significantly. Please send in your night orders!

With no leads I can only abstain (though it does not matter now since its already night) and not get involved in some bandwagon drama.

Congrats town on your astounding density. Now go do as I said and lynch Camikaze
