Planning

We are already hard at work. Sir, one of our scientists says he's simultaneously discovered fire and a very painful way of removing facial hair. I hope this spirit of innovation lives on!

Because then we can start Pottery (or Writing) earlier. By the time both are finished, both will be needed. Plus, it's less than 30 turns - 26, if we do the combo-build as some have suggested. That's way before any second Tech finishes.

But pottery was/is already available. So why not pottery first (if you plan on research it as the second tech)?.

As I see it right now, we build about half as fast as we research. The first warrior will come way after the first tech.

Flotorius, the will of the people. What may not make sense to you makes sense to many many many others.

I believe Flotorius was asking that *given* our choice of the agricultural path, why research Animal Husbandry instead of Pottery first. Or was his quesion a different one? I don't really understand his question well.

Exactly, that's what I meant.

@Swissempire: I accept the opinion of the majority and do not question it.

Sorry, then. I thought he meant that the agricultural descion was stupid, and was asking why we did it! Sorry again!

Minister,

There is a scheduled game session tomorrow evening. Although it's dependant on this poll, please post instructions in case it does happen. Even if you have no instructions, it will let me know that you are aware of the session.

Thanks,
