not sure if this is a bug or just an oddity.

when i attacked Romans, the Germans had a -1 or 2 'you attacking my friend'. ok that seems right. after 2 turns i got the Germans to attack the Romans too. The -1or2 'you attacked my friend' remained.

is that right? i dont think it should last as he is obviously not a friend of the Romans as he helped me wipe them off the planet.
should he have a - with himself for attacking his own friend?

there are lots things that doesnt make sense.
i discovered confucianism and christianity, confucianism got spread to woshingtong, so i adopted confucianism, but saladin got christianity, and he said i am fallen under a heathen religion

Well, I've had the same thing happen, only the reverse (I got Christianity from Saladin, and he adopted Confucianism which he also founded). I guess you can think of it as what the leader thinks, and if the leader is Confucian, then he's not going to like certain people within his population.

As for the "You attacked our friend", the key is the past tense. They were friends, and you attacked his friend, which might indicate to him that you might do it again. It also affects Defensive Pacts, as he might not want to be that nice to you if you are going to make him (with no trade involved) go to war with either you or one of his friends. It's a stretch, I know.
