First of all, sorry. I am really missing some way to feedback in a proper way.
That being said, here go some things I perceive as bugs and some more stuff thats been bugging me since Civ3:

Note: I am less inclined to discuss my points. This is whats bugging me, no amount of discussing will cause it to bug me less. Especially the first point.
So bear with me and move this post to where it belongs if you feel it aint belon'in here(@mods)

some bugs and misc critique on CIV WARLORDS

Spearmen vs Panzer
Please make it so that units of ancient times (any spear- or swordwielding type) cannot, EVER, kill a tank, mech infantry or modern armor. It is not fun to lose a full health tank to some sword wielder. Dont believe me, try confronting some amazonian indian tribe in south america with a tank. If they can defeat it without help, I will shut up, once and for all. Dont tell me its swordwielders in modern times. If they have the knowledge, they arent ancient units any more (aka, I upgraded them).
This is the biggest point why I stop playing Civ for months. It is so infinite frustrating to lose high tech units to some stupid archer o spearman.

Please: Global Warming should NOT reduce any tile from full to desert. It doesnt work like that i the real world, why did you implement it in the virtual world?
The way it worked in Civ3 is much better, aka a slow degradation from ice to tundra to plains to desert.
Global Warming is destroying improvements ... while farms are in order ( try farming desert!) why does warming destroy quarries, mines and others ???

The Spanish special unit conquistador is overpowered (def bonus???) Practically not even gunpowder units cann kill a conquistador with even a bit of defensive bonus and or promotion.

Vassal Bug: Disallow the AI (and players) to use vassalage to escape war with a greater nation. Or make it so that would mean instant WAR with the bigger nations involved. In that move, make it much less probable that an AI player would accept a vassal if its waging WAR.
To "lose" a war by some stupid AI going into vassal is boring and unfun.

Why did you remove harbors and other maritime buildings from fresh water lakes ?

AIs are still way too triggerhappy when it comes to war. I am faced with war usually in each and every game I play by AIs that were FRIENDLY the turn before and suddenly go to war.
Why does the AI allow that, but denies the player the same when asking for war on other friendly AIs of that country ? ( Aka Egypt is friendly to China, I only see "We could never betray our close friends!") . No matter how friendly they are to me, I always get the kick in the nuts.

Speaking of friendly : How many points does it need to get a def pact or perma alliance ?I was 18 points in the plus with the nation, one minus due to trading with enemies and I wasnt good enough for a def pact, not even dreaming of perma.
In the next game, I got perma all with a nation ( Cyrus) with not even 10 points plus.
not making sense in my book.

Could you re-implement the ability to plant woods? If you want, make planted woods not salvageable...

BUG: Vassals not giving me their techs : We fear you are getting too advanced! ?!
Excuse me, since when are my vassals allowed their own will? I could crush you like a bug!

Religion bugCleopatra: too few of our people follow that faith! - Egypt was Jew all the time. Pretty much 19 of 23 cities are of the faith. Still getting the not enough message.

Vassals still trying to diplo me into breaking contact with their master

Where did my AEGIS cruiser go ??? I think I still had that one in Civ 4. Was never in Civ4 it seems, my mistake

perma revolt: You have to give revolting cities at least 1 turn of peace in between. It happens alot that cities go into revolt and revolt right again in the turn they come out of uprise, thus not giving the player the chance to do ANYTHING but reloading to change anything.

EDIT: Readability, typos, removed some nonsense on my part.

Note: I am less inclined to discuss my points.
don't worry i won't discuss anything ;) just answer some questions :p

It seems that I am able to build cottages on hills now - this intended ? Been able to do that since latest patch in WARLORDS.
you could always build cottages on Grassland Hills - no other hills though

there are some leaders that will never sign PAs (Peter, Napoleon and Toku IIRC) other then that you need to be friendly with them - but the points you see are not all you get, refer to my sig if you want more information

that was Civ3 ;)

Und wo genau in Rheinland Pfalz hockst Du so rum? ^^
Danke für die Antwort bzgl AI!

I think I built an AEGIS cruiser in "normal" Civ4 but since its been some month and I never really used AEGIS in most of my games I might be mistaken.
Still, wondering where it went, cause in some games its quite useful.

Rheinhessen, near Mainz our glorious capital :p

defnitely not, the lack of AEGIS (or similar) cruisers in Civ4 has been discussed quite a lot here when Civ4 was published...
the modern navy you get consists of carriers, destroyers, battleships and submarines - and those are there both in Vanilla and Warlords...

kk, guess I maybe switched on old Civ and got it mixed up. Not really paying that much attention to the game I play :)
