Missing Civs

I´m sorry if the answer to this is somewhere in the massive debug thread but in the new version there are several civilizations missing; Lamia, Khemri, Skaven...

was this done on purpose or is there something wrong with the files I installed?

edit: When I open the mod through Civ4 advance option many civilizations are missing but when I open the game throught the WorldofWarhammer map, they are all there.
 
Yeah, this is a little irritating; Sylvania was removed because of bugs, but Lamia and Khemri were still pretty playable. Actually the Khemri one tends to be one of the strongest AIs (I suspect because it prioritizes bronze working and so is able to chop itself out of forestlock and start building cottages). Other civs needs to learn to do this too.
 
You can play any civ using the world map provided with the mod.
 
As it is, those civs are bein worked on. Least that's wat the WH team has said in this subforum. So, I advise y'll be patient and wait til those civs are done. They weren't left out; they jus need work. So, wait patiently.

Btw, I remember when they were in, back as far as v0.11 (several months back) and they weren't fun to play cuz they needed a lot of work. So, if they were playable, you'd all whine cuz this or that was wrong. So, jus wait is wat I say. After all, ain't it better to play a civ when it's more fleshed out than less?

That is true. Jus a warning, not all of em are near to be fleshed out. Many are, but not all.
 
Actually, Khemri was as playable as almost any other faction. Certainly had much more than most.
 
Rocklikeafool, I´m not complaining... it just feels like they took many of the more interesting civilizations out, currently we have civilizations like Araby and Cathay (for example) which really aren´t a big part of the current Warhammer lore but we are missing the vamps, skaven and Khemri which are all a much bigger part of the lore.

But I would just like to add, I think this mod has great potential but sadly its been a long time coming ;)
 
Chaos dwarves civ still here (Dwari Zhar or something, with the Sorceror Lord Astrogoth as their main stunty). Just no chaos dwarf units i guess. Bring back the hats ;)
 
Judging from the latest stuff from GW (the Hellcannon model as well as some concept drawings), Chaos Dwarves will lose the hats if/when they return. I like them, too, though.

The Bull Centaurs, Boar Centaurs and Lammasu would all make for interesting units. Not to mention all the artillery and war machines.
 
Well, like the WH team's been sayin, not all the factions are completed yet. So, you'll prolly get to see the Chaos Dwarves lil hats soon.
 
It would be pretty cool if their early units looked like the early models (dwarves in blackface with more spikes, basically) and the later units wore the big hats and noses. This would be an interesting idea for several of the Civs, really (a bit late in development for some of them, unfortunately).
