I have some more options under audio, like to use EAX and selecting my custom music folder. Under other are clock options, profiles, and what kind of internet connection I have.

I have the same problem, I play with the spanish version of civilization iv, think that when choose my own music the music options and the other options disappear. Please Help I Install the game 3 times.

Spanish version here too, and also the disappearing took place after changing to a custom music track. Solved the problem doing a full uninstall/reinstall (I mean deleting anything cIV related on my PC (including Windows Register). Now, it is working without any glitches (of course not touching that custom music option until a patch that solves it comes out).
I do not now if this is related or not but, has someone noted the '?' icons on the City List screen (the one showing when you press F1)? Anyone know if that is a bug or feature (kind of weird if it is a feature for it is shoing values under all of the '?' columns. Maybe only in EU version?

Is there any news on this? I am having the same problem (blank "Other" options screen) - fresh install of the UK DVD version here. Friends of mine who have the game have a whole range of options there.

hi,
had the same problem but only when i tried old drivers for my radeon x800xt videocard.
(trying to find a way out of the reboots but failed).

I tried various drivers for my card, but nothing helped. I also tried switching a few settings on my gfx card, but it also had no effect.
If the menu keeps being gone for me, is there a config file that has the options, so that I can at least manually alter them?
