Missing Portraits (BTS)

Hey

In BTS, the portraits of the leaders don't appear it is just a blank space. However, they appear in Warlords and the original CivIV. I've already reinstalled and nothing. Any ideas?

What Operating System do you have?
Is it a downloaded or disc version?
Have you patched BTS?
Have you tried updating your directx9c from Microsoft?

I have Windows XP
Disc Version
Patched to 3.19
Just tried it, did nothing

How did you apply the 3.19 patch?

I installed 3.19 via downloading it from the official site. I've attached my DxDiag.txt

Your graphics card drivers are ancient, try this one from nVidia which is a bit newer. It may be your old card, there is a difference in how BTS and Warlords handle things, maybe the card can cope with Warlords but not BTS.

You said you downloaded the patch from the official site, did you use the in-game updater to do this?

I actually tried that driver yesterday and it made my desktop freeze. I had to system restore to get it to work again so I don't think that will help. I went to the website and downloaded the update I didn't use the in-game updater.
