Missing Unit filters/display option

So I was chugging along with some 3.x version of BUG, and finally got off my butt to upgrade to the latest (as well as incorperating BULL).

Anyway, I uninstall the old version, run the 4.4 installer for SP, follow the BULL directions, and everything looks groovy.

Except... I don't have the unit filters, and changing the display setting (to vertical for example) in the BUG settings doesn't do anything either.

I installed BAT as a mod and have the same problem running it that way as well.

Options -> Plot List -> Draw Style: set to "PLE"

edit: yep there now... does it require a restart to show up?

Well then that is very odd. Oh well, working now.

I did encounter a crash when trying to open the event log, though it was late game and there was a lot going on that turn.

Rebooting and reloading seemed to clear whatever that was.
