Missing unit interface with some mods..

Hi,

When using fairly popular mods (CCMAT, Proc's Call to Power, Economy Mod) when the game starts, the unit interface buttons on the left are missing (e.g. where you can click to issue the "build city" command for instance..)

Any ideas on what to do to fix it?

I am running only one mod at a time, and have the steam, latest version with all new Civ DLC's.
