Missionaries should not be able to block military units.

Third party Missionary spam getting away of a war is stupid.

I would argue that your military units should be able to stack with any civilian unit, though I suppose you could argue that troops walking through civilians would disturb these civilians, it also makes even less sense that a wall of missionaries would impede troop movements.

As a side note, I also think i should be able to expunge missionaries violating my borders too.

They annoy the hell out of me too but if you were able to block them from entering your land the whole religious victory becomes pretty much impossible.

Very true. Which is why I think your military just being able to stack with them is the fairest

Anyone know if there is a unit attribute a MOD could tweak to change them into discorporate bodies?

Asking for a friend.

I'd like to see a system whereby we could make things increasingly difficult for missionaries, Apostles & Inquisitors of foreign religions-using Social Policy Cards. The flip-side of these cards, though, could be a diplomatic penalty with the founder of those religions, & possibly some kind of internal penalty (like the amenity penalty for Police State, IIRC). One type of card might simply cause the unit to lose health within your territory, whereas another might prevent access altogether....at least for missionaries & inquisitors.

That is one thing I miss from CTP. BOOTing civilian units out of your borders.

Mind you, the little bastards were invisible except to the right units, so ..

I just keep some inquisitors handy and flip the city back after the others are done.

Of course, once I take a city and they all flock there, I let them fight it out for a while, then send in my robed fellow and clean up the heresy.
:)
