Well I don't understand have just checked and we absolutely had no deals with the Americans when I attacked them.

Well I don't know what happened to the rep either. Before the Spanish war it was already trashed. The game (400 AD) that I was passed, (preturn) France would accept 45 gold for chivalry (only 1 turn left on it) or 12gpt (240 gold) on the payment plan.

Anyway, what ever happened, it's done. Let's just go beat the AI up instead of launching a space ship. ;)
 
MDL 01

700 AD (0): Rush library in Madrid for 16 gold. Want to get a settler from somewhere asap to fill in some gaps . No other changes

710 AD (1): Berlin builds a cathedral starts university. Madrid builds a library starts courthouse. Phily builds a galley starts another. France stats bachs. Continue to move the knights and the galleys east.

720 aD (2): Chicago knights = knight. India starts on Cop's Elite knight destroys Dacca and captures 2 workers. Land 1/2 the units from the gallies outside calcutta. Hurry library in Vitoria for 60 gold. I can buy Guns from France for 900 gold but no 20 turns deals. Wait and see what India will give up for peace after I take a couple more cities.

730 AD (3): A MI dies to an Indian counter with a long bow near Punjab. Boston builds temple starts cathedral. Vitoria builds library starts courthouse. Caputure Calcutta and start library. Drop the rest of the units outside of Bengal.

740 aD (4): Washington builds university starts knight. Konigsberg builds duct starts university. Cologne builds market starts University. France completes Sistenes. Capture Punjab and BEngal. India will not give up anything for peace.

750 aD (5): France starts Smiths :eek:. Turn research on Guns in 5. Knight from the North board galleys to head to India. The Knights in Calcutta and Bengal are resting.

760 AD (6): Reinforcements arrive, move out a small force to more on Madras next turn.

770 AD (7): Berlin builds university. starts knight. San Fran builds duct starts courthouse. Theology, silks and 50 gold to Zulu for wines. Buy guns from France for 360 gold. Reveals Chemistry. India has chemistry as well. Joanie will not touch Gpt or lux deals.

780 AD (8): Lose a 1/4 knight to jumbos. Hambur builds a temple starts university. Hannover builds market starts library. Form a stack to move on Kolhapur next turn. kill 2 jumbos outside of Madras, losing 1 knight to a 3/4.

790 AD (9): Capture Kolhapur easily. Stack of Knight is outside of the Indian Capital.

800 AD (10): Kill 4 pikes in Delhi and on the last death we get a great Leader Hengest [dance], capture the city.

There are many galleys ready to be filled outside of Buffaloe. India is getting betten on, took 6 cities autorazed another and defeated all his jumbos yet the best he will give is a crappy city and Music Theory. Will give up banking if we kick in gold. Can buy tech for gold only from Joanie. Didn't push any buys because I was hoping to get something from India. We are still at war with a leader in Delhi that can rush Leo's, Smiths or Bash's if we can get the techs. If research is back on we get Astronomy in 7.

Preturn- Rush Leo's. I know that France is way ahead of us but I'm going to trim research to 10% and just go toward a military domination. I'm going to use Detroit as a launch point.

810 AD. I move as many units from the mainland toward detroit as possible and swap defensive untis to MP duy. On the second continent, put troops in position to rest before the next run at the Indians.

820 AD. Rest troops and move troops to fronts. Rush harbor in bengal so that we get resources and lux over to the new continent.

830 AD. Move troops in position to take lahore. smoke to Indian MDI.

IBT India does a few counter but nothing that we can't handle.

840 AD. Take out 2 more Indian MDI. We crash the party at Lahore and capture Bach. :) We take a weak whack at bombay but are repelled.

850 AD. Blah, Bombay holds up to our assault but we don't lose any knights. Many reinforcments are starting to arrive.

860 AD. Bombay falls we keep it to advance troops. It does have Colossus but that will not help us in a corrupt city. So I sell everything it has and leave it empty.

870 AD. Jaipur falls but costs us 3 knights.

880 AD. Kolhapur deposes. This causes me to have to hold off the attack on Bangalore by diverting some forces to position to mount an attack on Kolhapur.

890 AD. Kolhapur costs us a knight to retake. Bangalore falls. I'm leaving most of these Indian cities without any MP cause the chance of flipping is just too high.

900 AD. I buy astronomy from France for 625. We lose 2 lux from France but I don't want to leave us tied to them for 20 turns. Setting up an attack on Karachi.

If we can clear Indias main cities in the area we can make peace for some techs. That will give us 20 turns to get into position to wipe them out and stop the chance of culture flips. Either that or we have to replace them all.

CB puts the torch to what was left of India. We might take a break for a small war on the Iroquois to clean our landmass and get over next to the French.

Using anarres'Flip Calc (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53157) I can see that most cities in Inda
have very high chance of flipping, we need the Indians dead ASAP.

900 : rush a few Libs in India,
910 : French advance some SoDs towards us, form a human wall to prevent them entering, I dont like the look of it...
Moving in to destroy Karachi.
ibt : French complete Smith
920 : Dortmund is founded by Cattauragus and Centralia, will be the base city for Iro attack.
Karachi si captured and SoD is stationed there for healing and flip purposes.
An incursion in Iroland shows numerous French SoDs coming at us :eek:
I take an important decision : we cant get to the Indian cities before 15 turns without an ROP.
However we could get the French to finish off the Indians for us. They can be bought into an alliance vs India for 1 lux plus 15g.
So between being tied to the Iros for 20 turns (for ROP) or tied to the French for 20 turns I choose the latter I am sure
that deal will finish just when we finish the Iros and are at the gates of France.

Dortmund falls and is autorazed we lose 3 knights.
930 : we found Brandenburg on Dortmunds' site and kill most of the Frech SoDs only some Musketeers left. They probably are in GA.
ibt : we get a Leader defending so I named Not Long ! as I thought he would get killed before the turnends but no he survives !
We lose 2 knights a pult (as bait) and an MDI.
940: we lose a Knight, but get rid of most of French troops, Horsa the leader forms an army. Peace with India wont even give us
Banking Chemistry and Navigation...
ibt : France's attack force retreats, they were only a few wounded units left.
950 : Problem now is that we have a peace deal with Iros for the next 10 turns ! So we can't start moving through their territotry as I expected. :(

I want to ask the opinion of the team now as to what we should do, we could upgrade galleys, fill up caravels and go knowck the 2
last indian cities. However the war with France would cause a problem as the indian cities are right by France.

If we can get the three techs with throwing in some gpt (which you can do in peace negotiations even if your rep is shot) I would do that and make nice for 20 with India. We can then concentrate on getting to Cav and hurting the French. The Galleys could still be upgraded as we haven't taken on the Zulu's yet and we might as well go fro conquest or domination.

As a side note, I unfortunately left may Civ3 disks at the in-laws. I won't be able to play until they get here (he is mailing them Monday). I hate it as this is at the point when the game is most interesting. I may swap with Hotrod and then hope they get here in time.
 
Hotrod is next due to the disk problem, I should have them by Wednesday, if withdrawl doesn't get me sooner.

It depends if the disks make it in today (hopefully). They were sent by express mail so I will be expecting them either today or tomorrow.
 
Okay. LK45 is going to take most of my time tonight but if you don't post a got it I will see if I can start on it tonight after LK45.
 
LK45 is turning into a monster and I am up in LK46. I don't want to delay this any longer. Meldor what is your situation??
