Hi, my mod browser doesn't work, can i post here for help? basically the very first time i log into the online thing, it shows the default thing and like 3 pages of mods. whenever i try to search for something in the searchbox, it goes blank, theres no mods or categories on the side and it does the searching circle thing for awhile but then stops and never comes up with anything.

And welcome to CFC :).

That sounds related to the other mod browser bug, where nothing at all gets displayed.
In this bug, a "flood prevention" method in the router resulted in a complete disconnection of the browser to the whole www, so that no data could be received.
Might be worth to check your router options.

oh thanks thats super, thats exactly what i have. how do i find where my router settings are at to look at them?

...that's again a bit tricky. I guess you are not familiar with all that stuff, right? That can take now a bit longer :/.

First: Hit the windows key + R, type in cmd, hit enter. A menu will come up. There, type in ipconfig, and hit enter. That will show you your IP adress. Is maybe something like 192.168.178.35 or similar (it is NOT the 255.255.255.255, it's the number above).

So, now, after you have your IP, then open your browser. Type in the first 3 triplets of your IP, so in the example http://192.168.178 and then .1.
(it might be the same like the standard gateway mentioned in the menu; can't check that atm, i have a rather unusual setup here; edit: As far as my network knowledge goes it should be the same)
This should, in most cases, bring you to your router, to the access menu. It might be secured with a password. If you haven't set your own, you might either a) ask the person who did that b) check the manual c) try without a passwort d) test some standard passwords like 0000, admin, administrator.

Then you have to look around yourself, unless you provide the infos about the router model (that might be worth as first step, so that we can look up if the whole stuff here even applies to the situation), so that i can check out the menus online.

whoa, this is pretty complicated. is there another place to browse/download mods besides the in game one, like does this website have them all? I followed the directions you gave and found my router but theres a whole bunch of options im not sure its worth going into it looks ugly =O

You can sure download the mods also from here.
But be aware: Not all are here, i think most people upload it only to the mod hub :(. But the "older" modders from previous version host their projects here, i've already seen 2 bigger and promising projects which are, as far as i know, not in the mod hub.

For the options...like said, you might want to provide the model of the router so that i can maybe see, if the problem applies here at all and if there's an easier solution for it (but that earliest tomorrow, here it's already after midnight).
