[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

I've played two games (both as Elohim, Emporer level, custom game, raging barbs, aggressive AI, etc.) where Acheron was created, but no Dragon's Hoard in the city. I didn't see any pedia entries on Dragon's Hoard, but assumed it was always created in the city that houses Acheron.

Any ideas? Posted this a few days ago on the bug report page, but no response. :cry:

Its fixed in 0.23.
 
Once I install the mod, I can't load the mod from the regular Warlords boot, and I can't start the mod from the FFH2 exe in the mod folder without it promptimg me for the CD, despite the fact that the the CD is in the drive. Any suggestions?

Edit: Nevermind, it's just a vanilla Civ mod.

I recently played a game as the Clan and thought it might be interesting if they could somehow conduct diplomacy with or ally themselves with the barbarians or -- on analogy with your idea about animals and the elves -- capture barbarian units without combat. That might unbalance the early game too much, though. I guess your playtesting will figure it out.

1. Nature- maybe starting at peace with the ljosalfar and svartalfar, who could "capture" animals without combat.

Ok I got the mod working, but are there supposed to be as many pink (null) image slots as I see, or am I experiencing some kind of error? I've played this mod before but don't recall so much missing imagery. If you are in need of icon art for the city menus and others, I am willing to chip in.

Also, there is no sound.

Any ideas?
 
friday sounds like a very good day. half four is a squishy time (goddam U!!) proper questions though, how do you look at the trophy room? and is there any way it can be transferred onto .23?

you might have the wrong language selected?
try English (if you have another one).
But could be something else too :)

There is a button in the upper left corner for the trophy room, right beside the event log button.

You can keep all your trophies by just copying your trophies.dat file from your Fall from Heaven 2 022 directory into your Fall from Heaven 2 023 directory.

Trophies? Trophy Room? I think I missed something somewhere.
 
I don't know if this has been raised before, so apologies if it has. It's also been a while since I've played, so if this has been changed, my apologies again.

I noticed that when a spellcaster casts a spell that affects a city (e.g., Hope, Inspiration, Wall of Stone), the spell wears off if the caster leaves the city, i.e., it no longer shows up in the list of improvements in the city screen, so the caster has to return to the city and cast the spell again. The 'pedia didn't say that about these types of spells, so I was under the impression that they affected the city permanently.

Just wondering what your intent is here. Did you intend for these types of spells to result in permanent improvements to the city? Since version .23 is imminent, I thought I'd call this to your attention, in case you weren't already aware of this, so you could decide what you want to do.
 
Those "Wild Infernals"...

Are they going to spawn all the time and independant from enything, or are there some reamining from the last apocalypse in the beginning, and later on spawning at a high AC?

If they're going to spawn all the time, this could get kind of annoying. I don't really like the imagination of sect of flies or balors approaching my cities at turn 50...
