There isnt much fun to them because they are balanced and filled out. And we have some playable that arent filled out, but we mean REALLY filled out. If we made them playable I would start getting pm's about the hidden trait not working (it actually doesnt do anything) and how basium is overpowered (which he is, but we got other stuff to work on before we get to him). So we block them out.

I dont know if the mercurians or the infernals will ever be playable. We have some fancy plans for them and we may not be able to balance them because of it. But if we can we will make them playable.

I am sorry if I am asking something obvious... I have been looking all over for this and cannot find it it seems. Is there a reference list to leader traits for FfH2?

Thanks Kael. I haven't got to play this mod until now and after it loaded I went to pick my leader and had no idea what I was deciding between. :p I have been wanting to try this mod out badly but wanted time (like this weekend) to really dig in. :D I have came here just to look at your screenshots and drool for a few months.

I was afraid I wasn't going to get to play tonight as I would either be searching (which I probably would have found it eventually, I bet I missed the link you already had posted somewhere by my own mistake.) or I would have just waited for a response. You are a life saver tonight. :goodjob:

EDIT: One last thing, I had the white flags show up. But the fix posted did not solve it. I do know it is my video card (or am guessing it is) that causes this. I know a way around it but I have to change the secondary color of most civs to white. Where can I access the color vals for the mod? I have a custom one in my customassets folder already. Although I have removed my custom assets folder to the desktop for this mod. Any advice?

here's a few suggestions if not already mentioned earlier. I enjoy your mod very well and just about only play this for my entire civ 4. However, the revolution mod and the special domestic advisor mod would be fitting I think for this mod. Is it possible to include them? Secondly, spellforce (if anyone knows the game, german made I believe) has plenty of 3D models that I notice you get import to the 3D model thingy (forget what it's called) just like the war hammer ones, age of empires, age of mythology) And if no one has the game, (since I'm no graphics designer) I believe I can upload the 3d models to one of you possibly. Just a way to help (if it hasn't been done already) a great mod become greater.

I have the special domestic advisor and the exotic foreign adivsor on the list to be reviewed for inclusion. Members frequently list those as top quality mods that would work well with FfH. We are also really looking forward to integrating the next version of Thelopez's mercenary mod.

I haven't tried the revolution mod yet, me and a few team memebrs will have to try it out and see what we think. I have heard good things about it.

Well, yeah. I understand why they aren't available -NOW-, what I was wondering was more if they would ever be, such as when the version they are scheduled for comes around. It's not very interesting to play a race lacking uniqueness and/or not balanced, so it's quite understandable that some of them are unavailable now.
And yeah, true enough about the editor. But I meant more in respect to the mainstream mod, not how I can modify it to suit my own purposes. ;)

Anyways, anyways. Guess I'll just wait and see what happens.
 
about that spellforce mod ( a few corrections ) 3dmax i believe is the program you guys all use (or chalid or other modders) for importing 3d models? Well in this game there's all sorts of cave orcs, trolls, goblins, demons, gargoyles, medussa like creatures, and even somethin' that might work well for your golem characters (not sure how many different 3d models you want for the golems or if you'll just skin all from one model) gryphons (granted i know the war hammer mod has made a gryphon if not imported it) either way, there's tons of characters that could fit this mod (including some age of mythology ones too possibly) plenty of undead charcters, basically... you name it. If you're interested.
 
grr i didn't mean there's a spellforce mod, i merely meant (typo above) that the game "spellforce" has plenty of 3d models for your mod that could possibly work very well (maybe give chalid an easier time for pumping out new characters)

There is no special code about the creation of any of the dragons. They are built like any other hero. Acheron (the barbarian red dragon) has no requirements and only cost 25 hammers so he tends to be made in the first barbarian city that really starts producing units.

There is a check in onUnitBuilt, and if Acheron is built in a city that city automatically gains the Dragons Hoard.
 
strategyonly - If you are making a map...Just play it through the turn that the dragon appears, then go to the worldbuilder, and edit from that point. The date can be erased, and reset in the Wordpad text. You could probably speed up the placement and/or influence where it was produced by giving a barb city a mine, or other upgrades. Worth a shot.

Otherwise I bet you'll get a double Orthus...Would he get a double Acheron if placed on turn 1 in the WB?

No, since Acheron has to be built legally (he is never spawned) the computer will obey the rules and not make 2. This has causesd a problem for eager players who use the worldbuilder to look at him at the start of a game and then delete him. If that is done the game wont make one later on.

Yeah, the other two dragon (Eurabatres and Abashi) are civ heroes. You can go ahead and make them barbarian untis with the worldbuilder but that means that the Sheaim and Kuriotates won't have access to their heroes (so you should probably leave them off the map).
