My apologies if this is in the wrong place...

I am fairly new to Civ6 (Played the original Civilization in the early '90s) and am really finding this new version with all the modes and DLC to be quite entertaining, except for one minor thing: ...

With all the barbarians in the new mode making City States the list of them continues to grow to almost unmanageable status. Is there a mod or fix, or work-around that will allow me to sort the City States either alphabetically, by type, by envoy, by Suzerain, etc? It would make such a QOL difference to me and my games.

I've checked Steam workshop, asked on the official Discord, on PotatoMcWhiskey's Discord, Reddit, etc etc and to day have not been successful.

Any help or hints at all would be appreciated! TIA!!!

I don’t know of any such mod. Remember that city states a colour coded by type, which is a big help, and otherwise most players learn the good ones after some games.

You may want to use the mod “Suzerain at a glance” that let’s you see from the map who’s currently suzerain and how many envoys they have.

Thank you. That is a really handy mod to have while I'm perusing the map and looking things over. I will be using that one.

Sadly, though, I'll still be on the lookout for something that will allow me to manipulate the data inside the list. If anything comes up, please let me know.

As always, TIA!! =)

No other replies tells me that there's probably nothing out there...ok, thanks to all who took a second to read this.

I once had serious plans to enhance the "World Rankings" systems by adding various Data/Infos to the generic Score panel with a custom mod called GSco_R_ow back in Summer 19.

But @Infixo (( with his Better World Rankings )) has updated my idea far beyond what it could ever offer.. even now.
There's still a probability that someone (or we) might expand such functions to cover the CS component(s). Likely with precisely what you're asking for. Not sure when though.

Two links to consult if you're curious...

Thank you for the hope. Please let me know if this becomes reality... i'd be the first to subscribe.

Have a great day!
