I apologize, but I thought Civ IV was supposed to come with the SDK for fans to make up their own games and mods. Do you think it will come in a patch or will it never be released?

SadExchange. According to interviews I heard as early as even May or June, the SDK was never going to be released with the original game-due to support issues-I don't know where the misunderstandings, regarding this, came from. Anyway, apparently it WILL be released in January-and will be a FREE download.

Yeah, it actually even has a tiny tiny * where it says that on the back of the box: ...ware Developers Kit (SDK)*. And in the tiny tiny print at the bottom, it says:

*SDK available for download in early 2006

*shrugs*
