Well, what can I do?

Another question for you Max: I can't seem to get my gunships to attack. Do they not attack, or am I bugged, or can they only certain units?

those problems are going to be fixed in 5.1 update ( taken from the first page )

v5.1 will have -

1 - british MK4 tank - smaller scale
2 - cavalry will be upgradable till infantry
3 - choppers bug ( none attacking ) is fixed
4 - no more sikorsy and mil factories - just one HELICOPTER factory
5 - combat helicopters can't cross water anymore and has upgratable line - gunship-mi24-ka50
6 - fixed upgrate line - tank to t72, heavy tank to modern armor
7 - new models of f14, mig29k and mirage ( the conquere unit maker )
8 - amount of police units increased from 5 per nation till 10
9 - bismark battleship ( snafusmith ) unit as UU for gemany

going to check your scenario.
probably u will need some updates to make soon, since i'm going to release 5.1 update today or tomorrow! There will be some additional technologies ( for modern time, so, ur previous ww2 scenario will be ok, no need to make any changes )
also some new units will be in ( check out first page of this post )
so, wait before u make your post in scenario section until i release 5.1 ( very soon! )
 
Actually, I have a recommendation for you, and an easy one to implement too.

I found it really annoying that sub can attack each other, at least early type sub. You should give a -100% against sub to sub unit. This way, combat between sub is impossible.

We won't have any of the following situtation anymore: in a defending stack, you have a sub and a destroyer. An attacking sub attack the stacks. Who defends? The sub. This is silly, especially since the destroyer has a higher combat value.

Let's not forget that sub combat became possible once the torpedo and tracking technology was advanced enough.

This would allow you to add new elements in your mod:
1) combat promotions for sub hunting: bonus against sub
2) introduce sub hunter unit

hey, very nice idea and very logicly ... but unfortunately i can't do that :( well, but if some1 will help me ... ? ;)

This is an imaginary scenario about world war 3.It takes place in a huge map of Europe.
IT REQUIRES MAXRIGAMOD5 OR HIGHER.

i want to disappoint you - ur scenario is not launching! but when i finally fixed it to launch it says me - error, which means your ww3 scenario is not comparable with 5.1 ( as i thought ) :(
 
Too sad. I will create a new one as soon as I'll download your 5.1 version.
The situation and the main idea will be the same.

download same file (maxrigamod5 ) and u will see readme 5.1 file with all units in ! also 2001 scenario is available on the first page! have a nice play&game !

v5.1 has -

MaxRiga you say version 5.1 of the mod is out and yet I can't seem to find a link to it. Could you provide me with a link to where I can download Version 5.1? Thanks. Oh and at radar guidance system, an Apache Longbow would be a good helicopter if you can find one, as it has a mast-mounted radar system that can scan from behind cover. It is one of the best helicopter gunships in the US arsenal when it is operational. Healz.
 
On the first page of this thread if you download the maxriga mod its updated to 5.1

The granadier's strength has been lowered down to 2, was that intended?

i was making some chaingings for grenadiers and riflemen, so now this units are worsiest to build ...

Poly, it pretty much needs to be re-written from the ground up for warlords.

Thats the bad news...

The good news.....
I just started a new project heavily influanced by Max's work....

More bad news....
Its going to be a while.... Till its ready. I'll call for testers openly when it gets to that point... (Max might even break down and get warlords by then) ;)

nah, i have no plans to remake this mod for warlords at all. I even ready for stopping working on it if the mod die with the time because of everybody will play warlords only :)
 
Max, I tried to play your 2001 scenario, but it didn't work.
Also the available nations were USA,Russia and Japan.
Is there some kind of error?
Can you give me some ideas about new scenarios?
