Prior to 1.61 you didnt need foreign language text for all of your text strings. You could just put in the english line and if the other languages weren't there it would use the english line.

With 1.16 there are 2 problems:

1. If the foreign language line is missing nothing is displayed.

And the bigger issue:

2. If ANY foreign language line is missing it effects ALL of the translation for that language. So if you don't include a german trnaslation for one of your text strings none of the german strings will work.

To work around this create a new tag for all of your text strings for each of the languages. In FfH these are just the english line copied over, but it works around the problem.

In the meantime version .48 is out. It contains some minor tweaks and fixes along with changing how the free specialist for the creative trait works.
 
No problem, its the least I can do after all of the help you have given me with fall from heaven.
 
Well going to back to school has forced me to put this mod on hold for the time being.... The latest version is pretty stable so it should work good.

If there are any major bugs let me know though. Sorry i never got around to getting the non-english language menus working, ill see if i can do something about that in my spare time. Otherwise its been fun.... Thanks all who contributed.
 
Great work, naf4ever. I hope one day you or someone else will pick this up and run with it. I also hope this kind of mod will inspire other people who look at Civ from the big picture, rather than just 'you know what would be cool? ...'

This seems like a pretty interesting mod. The resources (Salt and coffee) look rather powerful, too.

I'm curious though, how did you add the bonuses for these resources such that salt gives +10% food, for example? It took me several tries to get a similar mechanic working in my mod.
