ModBuddy mod version numbers

Is there any way to get the version number as a float instead of an integer? I always liked to use the 1.0, 1.12, 1.5, 2.1 etc. instead of entire numbers for my mods... Even Firaxis/2K uses decimals.

You can type it in manually in the project properties. The spinbox will only increment and display integers though, and it only seems to work if you use a major.minor format, not major.minor.release or some other format.

Edit: The Mod Browser still seems to only display the major version though.

Only an integer can be uploaded to the hub. it will fail otherwise (I've tried).

I was afraid it would be something like that. I guess the best work around is only to increment the major version when desired and track the minor version in the description.

Everytime you upload it must be a new version number.

Bah! I guess it's a good thing I plan to do a lot of private testing before unleashing any mods I create on the world at large, I don't like high version numbers.
