The delayed but not forgotten ninth episode of ModCast is here, an official podcast of Apolyton Civilization Site (ACS). "FfH The Movie" (47m29s) features core panelists Wouter "Locutus" Snijders, Tony "GarretSidzaka" Kiehl and Oscar "Elhoim" Velzi with first-time guest host Stephan "seZereth" Weiss.

ModCast is a bi-weekly ~45-minute audio production of Apolyton Civilization Site and is an ongoing effort to give the Civ community an interactive voice on Civilization modding; its sibling show PolyCast focuses on Civ strategy. To date, ACS is the only community on the web to produce its own Civilization podcasts.
 
Another great modcast - It's nice that Blood and Iron is getting so much publicity, I only hope in can meet everyones expectations. It was great to get some perspective from another unit makers - The spotlight is quickly becoming my favorite part of the show.

Great modcast from what i've understood after severals listening. Good to hear speaking someone playing the map for the first time and have impressions :).

I've not understood the end of the Full of resources part. But i wanted to answer you about some questions in the modcast :

_ I don't want to import other scripts and keep a stand alone script to prevent MP compatibility issues . It would be possible to do that, but i can't check if the import is good , especially for options fields . There is also a lot of stuff that can be done in the script i can't control and that can create some bugs.
But anyone can ask if they want another script, i can easily add it (and i will add a note "how to add a map" when the script will be finished)... there is also a personal script in the list : "chess" :blush:. Even if the concept is simple I've got some great games again barbs with (MP map only).

_ I've decrease the time the screen show up (several seconds in you have the menu in the same language of civ), and the time to generate additional resources. The starting locations are about to be finished . I've heard you got some problems with, this is normal since this is the default civ assignment that is launched for the moment.

_ In fact , the main feature is to be able to select maps and options at random to make the map ... random .

i usually dont understand either. i tend to not be sensible

I agree with you. And I also think you should add more scripts like you said. Coz when you do im gonna redownload it and play more CIV!!!!

Will all the podcasts now be on a delayed mid-weekly schedule?

No, they should regularize with publishing on the weekends. You see, Wouter and Dan are the only ones who know how to do the 2 hour process of publishing an episode, and they haven't had time to sit me down and teach me. I always get an episode edited and uploaded by saturday or sunday at the latest.

But soon I will hopefully be publishing the episodes, so maybe they will come out alot sooner :)

This is a fashion accessory worn on the head. Not the butt, and not the foot.

Just think of all the customer service calls they're avoiding with such detailed instructions.
