Modding defaults for Create Game screen

Hello there!

Apologies if this is a dumb question, but what do I change (assuming it's possible to do this) to make the Create Game screen offer me Emperor level, Epic speed, and Standard size by default?

Take a look at the SetupParameters.xml - it has several options.

That doesn't work for me, unfortunately. Pressing Restore Defaults in the main Create Game screen after having changed SetupParameters.xml does nothing. Clicking the one in the advanced setup screen also does nothing.

A redditor reported the same three years ago (https://www.reddit.com/r/CivVI/comments/5av1s2/changing_the_default_map_options_for_a_new_game/) and received some suggestions; unfortunately they revolve around there possibly being another setupparameters.xml, which there isn't... at least not on my PC.
