Modding Doesn't Work in Gods and Kings :(

I was obliged to download Gods and s .... and now my Mods won't work - the game crashes if I try to use any Mods.

I was just getting ready to start making my own Mods, but now its all messed up.

Can anyone advise?

One thing I like about Gods and Kings is the new trading post - the old one was messy in the early game - looked like a pile of litter.

Also - I don't like the idea of having to log on to Steam every time I want to play - even as "Offline" - internet is very expensive here.

Mods are pretty much always gonna break and need to be updated when there's a new patch/expac, get used to it. It's like that for most games.

I am having the same problem. I tried making my own map on World Builder but the game crashes when I try to load it. Any ideas? I really dont think its the game but me, however I can not see where I am making the mistake

I had the same problem pre G&K, if you have less starting locations than there are city-states and civilizations in the scenario, the map will never load or crash.

Okay my downloaded Mods are working now - previously the game would crash before I could even scroll down the list to select (happened 3 times).

There is a bug in the standard mod browser screen that causes the game to crash after a random amount of time if you are off-line, or the servers are under extream load. It may also affect G&K

Why has the mod menu changed ? it opens a steam window but mine just flickers then dissapears it wont even remain open, this is why civ 5 is my only pc game so riddiculously hard to play the game to begin with !

I downloaded a long list of Mods over the past months and in Civ 5 they were on "pages" 1 - 4. I had to click on the different pages to look for the mods I wanted to use. When I downloaded Gods and Kings it put all Mods onto one long page, which I had to scroll down. The game would crash not even 1/4 the way through scrolling down.

Ya - ok - I can only start mods if I am connected to the internet. If I disconnect from the internet after starting the modded game - then I can carry on playing. If I try to set up a mod game while offline - Civ 5 G&K crashes.

I have the same problem I clarify that my game is not original.quisiera some mods but since installing the dlc gods and kings mods do not work please help if anyone knows thanks.
