Modding Music?

I would like to replace the existing OpeningMenu soundtrack with something else, and after searching on the fourms for any clues (but with no luck) I decided to bite the bullet and just play around and see what would happen....

I have replaced the OpeningMenu file in C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Fall from Heaven 2 023\Assets\sounds\soundtrack with my new music file (and renamed it OpeningMenu), but now when I run FfH2 it plays the Civ4 vanilla opening title track.

Is there anything else I need to do? I thought this would be quite straightforward but......

Would I follow the same process if I wanted to replace other sound files?

Ahhh... has to be in MP3 format not WMA (duh!)
(Soundtaxi is a free converter for WMA -> MP3)

Is there any chance this could be added to the FAQ? - I searched for ages using the search tool but couldn't find anything remotely helpful.
