Modern Unit Graphics

@Tanelorn I don't think I've seen one before. I recall making a wishlist of modern IFVs some time ago which included the very similar Stryker and VBCI, hopefully some of them will get around to being filled. Making a few attempts myself:

Based on a @Fairline original and @Broken_Erika s LAV, first attempt for the Finnish Patria requested back in 2015.
The main operator is Poland (1197 Rosomak vehicles). Also used by Finland itself, Sweden, the UAE, South Africa, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia and has been used in Afganistan, Yemen and Chad.

Awesome! Better late than never! :p

Would you be willing to swing at the Ukrainian BTU-3 and BTU-4 I'd brought up a while ago (though this one was this year)?

I not only approve but also welcome more such tweaks and compilations :goodjob:

Quick and dirty K2 - a highly advanced South Korean tank that has been offered to Norway and Poland for export and forms the basis of Turkey's indigenous Altay project:

The Wikipedia article on this (last I read - it may have been updated or edited since, I'll check in a bit) made this out to be more of a, "self-propelled gun." Is there some hybrid role, or alternative models, or just a Wiki contributor error?

Ah, here's the source of my confusion.

K2 Black Panther - Wikipedia
K9 Thunder - Wikipedia

I had just woken up, read @typhoon353's post, and recalled the K9 article as a K2 article. Don't mind me.

Excellent!

I'm planing to make a few 8-wheeled APCs to go with the VBCI - Boxer and Stryker spring to mind. Has anyone already made these?

As time passes, fairline's pixel skills have reached a refinement that is without peer.

I believe the saturation of his talent has led to the great majority of units used in SL scenarios for the last several years - outside, "terrain," "hazard," and very unusual custom units, having the, "GB," initials in the lower corner.

Thanks. Couldn't find a Boxer unit so drew a few. I didn't come across good pics of the Netherlands version; does anyone have any?

I'm thinking of drawing the Stryker, BTR-90 and ZBL-09 if these haven't been drawn already.

Out of curiosity, is the vehicle named after the sport fighter, the breed of dog, or something else.

Very nice T!

As for the Ajax, at the current time it's a disaster area that's unlikely to be introduced into service. The vehicle has major noise and vibration issues and is undrivable for more than 30 minutes without disabling it's crew! :D
