I picked up Civ VI on Epic last week, and I have been playing it and having a blast. However, there are a couple of mods that I want to pick up for the game (specifically the map tacks mod), but I am having a bit of a time trying to figure out how to do it. I found a Reddit post
where the instructions on how to mod non-Steam versions of the game exists, and that's awesome.
So what's the problem then? I cannot find the mods on Steam. That is, I don't know where the mod page is. I have opened Steam, searched for and found the store page for the game, clicked on the Community Hub button...and then I'm lost. There is nothing there that overtly says "Hey, go here for mods". Where in Steam would I find mods for Civ VI?
Secondly, there is one mod that I do not know the name of, and I'm hoping that someone here can help me figure it out. I was watching a YT video regarding Districts...
...and I am seeing something that I like but can't identify a mod for it. If you watch the video (go to 1:01 in the video) you'll see that the river that runs adjacent to and through the city in this guide is named. There is an actual name for the river on the map. I LOVE this, and I have not seen this in any of the trial games I've been playing (I say trial because I'm just messing around to get a feel for the controls and how the logic works in this edition of the game). So I figure it has to be a mod...but I can't figure out what the name of the mod is.
If anyone can help me out with either of these, I would be in your debt.
