Mods for Civ 7 Mac

I can't seem to figure out how to install any mods for Civ 7 for Mac. I purchased it via Steam for what that's worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't play on my Mac, but have you looked to see if you have this folder:

~/Library/Application Support/Civilization VII/Mods

Mac user here — I'm able to download and install CivFanatics mods successfully.

Here's what I did:
1. Create the Mods folder under ~/Library/Application Support/Civilization VII
2. Install, unzip, and then drag each mod into ~/Library/Application Support/Civilization VII/Mods
3. Modify the permissioning of each mod: xattr -rc ~/Library/Application Support/Civilization VII/Mods/[mod's name]
4.* Then, in Steam, I navigated to [Civ 7 > Properties > Launch Options] and typed in --enable-mods
5. Be sure to close Civ 7 (if it's running) and restart Steam

*I'm not certain step 4 is necessary, but it doesn't seem to hurt.

I see that a solution to the problem has already been found, but I want to add an additional option for those who play on Mac and have downloaded the "non-Steam version".
My method:

1. Open the Applications folder → CivilizationVII (Right-click and select "Show Package Contents").
2. Navigate to Contents → Game → CivilizationVII (Right-click again and select "Show Package Contents").
3. Open Resources → DLC and extract the mod here—after that, it should start working in the game.
