Mods, just drop in "Scenarios" folder and go?

How do I access downloaded mods, maps and scenarios? Just drop them in "Scenarios" folder and access them through "Civ-Content" option, or is there another step?

Also, if I make changes in the editor myself and save the changes as a scenario in the "Scenario" folder, I haven't screwed up the default settings, right? So if I want to play a straight up game, I just go to "New Game" and nothing has changed?

Any scenario you download should have some kind of readme.txt file. That will give you instructions on how to install the mod into C3C. Check the thread you d/l'd it from, as well.

Correct on both counts, GrimyGrifter. That's how it normally works. Some scenario makers have their own styles and some scenarios come in multiple zip archives, but usually all they require is you to put them under the scenario folder. Also, in the editor you can load up any scenario file (.bic, .biq etc. under scenario folder) and make changes that affect only that specific scenario.
