....says the #11 Quartermaster and #57 GOTM ranked player.

I know this is about a month ago, but I wanted to explain what I meant. I look at the tables and the stats and I have only 2 #1s and the lowest scores. The main reason I've got the rank I do is I kept exploiting weak tables, not because I'm so good that I can take a top rank. So that's why I said I'm not that good. It can be frustrating for someone with a higher rank to make claims about not being that good while the person with the lower rank is struggling to try to improve their rank. I'm happy I'm a Quartermaster and I don't think I'll lose my title (?) but I'm pretty sure it's down hill from here. I peaked at #7. I might be able to edge back to #10, maybe if the planet align and a genie pops out of my pocket.

That's basically how I have become a QM in the first place. I would divulge in some of my secrets, but I need every advantage possible to get me the best possible scores.

Heck, I dont even use civs perfect for the particular condition most of the time. 100k and Space with the Iroquois, 20k with the Ottomans, Domination with Netherlands just to name some of my HoF games on tables.

EDIT; I even have a Germany Space game.

well, Ottoman's aren't bad for 20K - in fact, I think you will find that the fastest time ever is with the ottomans... They start with 2 techs that have wonders.

They certainly arent the best though. Actually that game ended up extremely lucky because I got a SGL for the Great Library and I had my own island so no worries about the Mongols attacking me (who did have roughly 40% of the world when I hit 20k)

Well, that's one of the things I like about the HoF in general and the Quartermaster's in particular; if you keep with it you can make it. Maybe in a future time the HoF will be almost full and it will be really hard to get in anywhere but it's still not half full and there is plenty of room for someone if they just try and stick with it. Participation is important. Yes, some hotshot (not meant negitively, just a good player) can get a Quartermaster with 7 games, but most people need to work at it a bit, and you can with the HoF. I especially like that your games are listed in the statics whether you make it on a chart or not. Plus your total games and scores are listed.
