Monkey Island

Last week a friend gave me two *very* old disks containing Monkey Island 2. It's been quite a while since I played this game and I remember far from all the puzzles in the game even better: I forgot most of the insane jokes, so I enjoy the game as much as the first time I layed my hands on it. I actually like the first three versions best, they shouldn't have made MI4 in 3D. The curse of monkey island was *very* good, I like the cartoon style and I wish they'd make more of these games (like Full Throttle and Discworld 2). Anyone else have any good memories of Monkey Island?

I love the game personally. 1 2 and 3, havent got my hands on 4 yet, but 3d sounds pretty cool

Sure I remember. This saga is one of the best in adventures games. I've finished MI1 twice and MI2 several times. The only annoying thing in MI2 are the "labyrinth". When you have to find your way thanks to the mysterious sentence given to you when you were K.O. This excepted, it's a great game! All LucasArts games are great.

Geez, it's the classic of classics. I guess you've never played an adventure game before (only civ?)

Don't think so. Because *MISTER* VanillaCube

is a console fan. I don't think he has the IQ required to play an adventure game

And as long as MI is not released for PSX, he won't..

I grew up with monkey island 1.
when I was about 6-8 years I played it on am old Amiga 500 I wanted my brother(+10 years)to sit with me and translate everything to swedish.

I LOVE THE F*CKING GAME!!!
It's pretty cool on the ship and when you buy it with some worthless papers.
And the graphic was good for a couple of years ago. BUT I MEAN 3D, I HAAAATE THE IDEA.
THEY DOESN'T THINK OF US WHO HAS GROWN UP WITH IT.
