More people playing civ v or civ iv

I think more people are going to lean towards civ iv because disco man (montezuma) is smiling. Whilst in civ v he is angry. Furious as if he just found out disco is dead. Also Gandhi is buff in civ v and he's mean. In civ iv he's a great guy to have on your team except he doesn't help you when your in need. Fish doesn't chirp anymore how do I fix him. On... topic.. ?? : I'm not sure you need Steam for Civ IV. I don't remember needing it when I played it. Would be interesting to know the ratio of Civ IV : V population, although ofc they overlap to some extent as many people play both. It's no use making a poll, as the result would be heavily skewed by the choice of forum (Civ IV or V). I suppose you could try it on the Off-Topic forum, but many of the posters there don't even frequent the actual Civ forums anymore and seem more of a political/economic/philosophy discussion club kinda-a-group that merely got together through Civ in the aeons past.
