Hey Everyone,

I'm trying to make a Welsh civilization, and I was wondering is it possible to have more than two colours on a National Flag, because so far I've only seen two colours on each flag, and the XML code states that you can have a primary and secondary colour, but not a tertiary.

The reason I ask is because I would like my civilization to have its current flag, the Welsh Dragon, which features three colours - white for the sky, green for the grass and red for the dragon. Is this possible?

Thanks in Advance,
Walesboy1

..Also apologies if this is the wrong forum, I've seen lotsa people get kick-ins for doing that :p

It must be possible since I play with a flag mod showing multicolored flags all the time (e.g. India in orange-white-green).

I don't know, but i would guess those xml-entries are for the colors of city size numbers for opponents' cities. You know, your own cities' size number always shows it's growing status (growing/stagnant/famine) with colorization, but enemy cities have a civilization related colors.

And those might also affect units' colors.

Hey man.

Havent tried anything like this myself, but theres a file in the creation and customisation section about making your own civilization, including making the flag. It may not be it but it says something about making something all black instead of all white so it uses your picture instead of civ colours. I may be totally wrong though. its here if you wanna check it out:

Hey Guys,

After a few days of investigating, I managed to figure it out. By changing the WhiteFlag value in one of the XML files from 0 to 1, you can use solid colours on your flag.

Thanks all for your help! :)
