How'd this turn into loading speed? Only takes about a minute for me, though.

I was saying that it takes me longer for Morrowind to load up than it took the guy who beat the game in under 6 minutes to beat the game.

I just reinstalled Morrowind on my new pc, and I can say that I really look gorgeous on Maximum settings.

OTOH, I'm looking for some plugins for the complete set of Morrowind, anyone here care to share what's their favorite plugins and mods.

I recall that the Better Heads and Better Bodies plugins are excellent additions. Instead of the blocky and blurry character models that have the anatomy of those wooden art dolls, you get smooth transitions from torso to leg and arm and faces are better looking too.

Also I believe there's a mod out there that add's a bunch of neat weapons like a Dwemer Bolt Rifle, which is basically a crossbow in rifle form.

Although I don't have either of them, GIANTS Ultimate and Assasins Armoury are supposed to be good.

Hmm, I downloaded around 200 plugins for it. Still haven't enough time to check which one is useful though.

Just be careful, that amount of mods and plug-ins can cause objects in the game to get mixed up, such as:

Buzz! Wrong! You get Azura's Ring from Azura at the end. You do a quest for Azura at her Daedric Ruin to get Azura's Star.

Hmmm... That's odd, I had just finished the main quest again b4 I posted that. I wonder which of my mods did that? (I've gone on a binge, hit the upper limit, and started merging mods )

I'll let you guys know when I track it down!

edit: Thinking about it... It might be the unofficial patch. That might have switched the ring and the star...

I've just got into playing Daggerfall, which is ten times larger than Morrowind.

Morrowind is a great RPG but lack of MP. Once you get two other expansions and the right plugins it would rock.

Here what i got and ran perfectly smooth without any problems...
1)Morrowind+2xpac
2)Super Adenture Mod 3.02
3)Glow Away
4)Dodge Mod 1.2 WD

There are so many other plugins but some can slow down your pc as well crash due to conflict with other plugins. I never got so far in the game but sometime new games pop out and gotta try it.

Looking forward to get TES:IV but it gonna require one hellva pc to run it.

Looks good, except it's not in a zip file.

I have "walled city of Balmora", makes it feel like a real city.

Also just got: Nerevarine's castle.

You think Balmora expannded is huge.... well, this place is a few of vivec's canton's in size. And I haven't even explored it all too.

Quick q: If you could have 5 mods, what would they be?

As soon as I get a new computer, BAM! As many good morrow mods as I can get, as I have noticed a few mods are lost as their site went down.

Dracandros's voice adds scripts that, when you are the leader of a guild (great house, tribunal, stuff like that) it lets you control ordies, gurads and the like as personal guards.

It also adds two dialologue options, one that gets you thier level and one that gets their health and magicka levels.



Great for companion mods.
