I need to buy a better sound card for music-related stuff I'm doing, since what I have right now is really outdated.

I have this motherboard: Asus M2N E SLI (http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=M2N-E-SLI-GREEN-DT&cat=MBB) and I want to buy this sound card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS (http://ro.europe.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=208&product=14000&nav=1)

My question is... The Requirements section for the sound card says I need "Available PCI 2.1 slot for the audio card", and on my motherboard, it says I have these: 2 PCI Express x16 ( SLI: x8, x8 mode; single card: x16, x1 mode ), 2 PCI Express x1, 2 PCI slots.

I'm confused by the "PCI 2.1" part from the sound card description... would that sound card work on my motherboard, which doesn't mention any "2.1" anywhere?

Thanks in advance.
