move a unit ANYWHERE!!

hi all, whilst playing Conquests I came across this little glitch where i can move certain units ANYWHERE on the map I wanted. You will:
1. A city with an airport
2. A unit that can be re-based from that city
3. Everywhere

Ok this is how it happens: Get the unit that u want moving (e.g: modern armour) have it in the city with the airport. click the go to button were u move your mouse and the red line shows behind it. move it around i little on screen and the click on 're-base' this will change your mouse picture to a square with 4 arrows on it this will allow you to put the unit ANYWHERE u want - even on water. This glitch is INCREDIBLY helpful when you decide to start picking off the enemy countries.

to your question i honestly do not know wot version this is but i know i bought this in mid 2004 so its probably an early version. sorry if it doesn't work on your version

You should really patch your game, since it fixes many bugs. Exploits make the game not worth playing, for me.

I did this in the TETukurhan map to end it when I got bored playing it at 300 hours. Also interestingly enough, you can make your own units attack each other by airlifting them into an enemy city, then attacking the city.

That means it is not patched. If it is it will say 1.22.

This will work in 1.22 too, so patching wont help to fix this

No, I think he's the only one that cheats...

im only doing my 'cheat' in one of my games, im doing the good old fashoin nuking and death by MA method on the rest of them so there T-Money and Tomoyo

can someone try this with airdrop units (hit airdrop instead of airlift) and see if it works because you can airlift only once per city w/ airport.
