MP Hotseat Bug!

I played hotseat with my girlfriend till the year 1743AD and then the game started to crash always in the same (1743AD)point of game. That's what my computer is telling me:

Oh that's easy to fix, at line 6 instead of
ECX=00000001 DS=017f ESI=ffffffff FS=29ff
it should read
ECX=00000001 DS=018f ESI=ffffffff FS=29ff
Et voila !

As Chieftess asked, can you post a save-game from just before the crash and steps to reproduce it from the save-game to the crash?

Or how big is it, the save game file? Is there place on a disk, maybe, so I could send it from work?
