Not sure if anyone has any ideas but can a MP SG be a possibilty. 2 teams of 4 playing 2 different civs on the same map may be interesting. I think a PBEM game could work. And if the 2 players that are up are online at the same time the passes back and forth for the 10 should be quick. After the 10 or maybe five would be better, the games are passed on to the next player up.

This could be ridiculusly slow or if the coordination is right move right along.

Pitting 2 SG teams head to head I think would be interesting and a good read for those not involved. Ofcourse no reading the other teams logs :).

PS: I realize this may be all wet but I am being shut out of MP because my new cable modem isn't up yet and I have yet to try PBEM

I've thought of this, but it would be horribly slow. Remember, each succession would only be one turn, which would make for alot of trouble. Unless you would want to have each 'turn' be 20 civ turns.

I'm not interested, BTW: too slow for me. :)

Yep can't agree more. Playing 3 simultaneous PBEM games and I think I have played only 5 turns in 2 weeks. Not quick by any streatch. With MP working (mostly) I have been able to play a couple games but never to the bitter end. I think it would be interesting to have some players of various experience levels playing in a MP game. Making it happen would be unreasonable
