Multiplayer compatible?

the multiplayer game we ran with NO reloads up to turn 30 was with just CP

in the multiplayer with reloads I used CP CBP CSD C4DF More luxuries and eui compatibility files
 
That is correct. It's the modpack in my signature and it does not include CBP. It does include a number of other smaller mods however.

Sounds good. I've done some more work on the CBP-exclusive functions. Perhaps (when the next version comes out) you'll run a test for me?

I mean, it's always been trying, but I need more tests.

Just play a normal game and, if you get desyncs, try and record info on them (turn time, turn date, active player, etc.).

so just did another game today with the latest version and the same issue exists where the reloads start becoming very frequently after turn 20 where they pretty much every turn, also CSD has an issue of throwing up error messages about missing XML font files.

I would probably guess that was with CBP since I don't think you can run CSD without CBP and I think it was previously established that playing with only CP causes few if any reloads.
 
Did anyone ever fix the bug with AI players being unable to propose deals with human players in MP in this mod?

It's not a bug, it is disabled by choice by firaxxis, for God knows what reason.

And if I had to guess, no I don't think this mod fixes any specific multiplayer issue. There are however other mods that do fix that, and I think they are compatible, from what I've gathered, you can also just change the value yourself to allow the AI to propose deals.

Given that it's a community patch, it would be nice for them to fix this deficiency (if you have a problem with calling it a bug).

There is only one mod that approaches that problem, it's JDH's Active AI Diplomacy.
Unfortunately you cannot alter the behavior of the AI in multiplayer without editing the DLL, therefore this mod is not compatible with CP!

But I heard rumors that JDH is going to implement his mod into CP, does anyone know more about this?

I asked him, a while back, to send me his source code. Never did.

Yeah, I've asked him for his source code about half a dozen times. Delnar_Ersike has been trying to fix it for the latest version of Artificial Unintelligence, but has been running into problems.
