ipconfig comes up but then shuts down immediately

run it in Command prompt (Accessories>CommandPrompt)

Yeah, ipconfig just shows what I've already PM'd you... except for the subnet mask.

ip adresss xxxxsubnet mask xxxx

-default gateway xxx(default? sounds good to me

whatismyipaddress works for me, but I already PM'd you the answer it gave me.

subnet mask isnt what we want, that im sure of (its always the same for everyone)
