I guess it's either

(a) FFA with AIs

(b) Continue what we started earlier

(c) Start a whole different us vs. AI game.

C might be considerable considering that our other game really wasn't going anywhere. Still, the other two still have merit.

start a slightly more "winnable" game vs the ai?
we haven't capped anything other than barb cities in our game yet and it will take us a long time for us to get the techs to do so

we need mages, longbowmen and macemen at least
and both sanitation and the kilmorph tech for the iron

we could make it tougher to defend by putting it on teperate too

I prefer temparate just because it makes food less of an issue (very important if we decide to keep the Lanun as a player).

ya that Lanun bug is annoying for team play (pretty sure id pick someone else for team play - not only because of the bug, but because Lanun has very different priorities techwise from most civs). it might be a good idea to play a FFA though, those can be fun, diplomacy with humans is always interesting. usually its a peaceable game, with interesting interactions (which is a nice change from the no-interaction AI always war scenario)

i found out what was happening with my inability to build boats yet ability to build lighthouses. apparently you need ocean squares in the body of water to be able to make boats. you need atleast sea squares to make a lighthouse (a sea has no ocean squares but is bigger than a lake and has all coastal squares). that really screwed my position so im not too interested in continuing that game.


im up for either tho. if we do another us vs. AI maybe we could do deity mode but not always war, so we can atleast get a reprieve from the fighting every now and then, and wont start at war.

ps. i hate jungles, i hate jungles lol lets play a Ice Age map (would fit the theme )

except always war is the only thing protecting us from one huge ai juggernaut when they take thier time planning to assault us...

They might not plan, but they do build up huge stacks. I guess I could go for an FFA, but playing vs. the AI is fun, too.

we could have multiple continents so we atleast have some time

personally its just too easy if the AI isnt given extreme advantages (because in the end we can out think them)
