Multiplayer games and world builder

Hey guys

Just wondering how you can get into a game using the world builder when it is a hotseat game. My friends and I are curious as to where a whole stack of barbarians came from. Problem is we can't enter the world builder!

Can't use Worldbuilder unless it is single player.

Makes sense I guess... so there's no way to access the map at all?

You can retire and get a very rough overview of the map. Or continue to play until you get Omniscience. But the detailed, current, map? Not that I know of.

There was a debug option that supposedly allowed using worldbuilder in multiplayer a while back, but it never actually seemed to work (I only tested in hotseat games against myself). The option in gone now anyway.

could make some cheater spells to give such effects, like a Reveal map spell only useable by human players

Probably won't work but having cheatcode = chitpotle in the CivilizationIV.ini file allows you to type ctrl-z to reveal the map - in single player at least.

A MP WB option sure would help figure out OOS errors.
